Abstract:
In the present research the Relationship between Parental Conflicts and personality of teenagers was studied. In order to find out personality traits of the teenagers, Gordon personal Inventory was administered to a sample of 200 students within the age range of 13 tol9 years. Furthermore to find out the Parental Conflict, participants were asked to fill a questionnaire consisting of fourteen questions regarding Parental Conflict.
Two hundred participants were divided into two categories, 100 males' students and 100 females' students.
Chi-square test was used for the statistical analysis of the data.
Out of four hypotheses only one hypothesis was highly significant at P< 0.001 level and the remaining three hypotheses were significant at P< 0.05 levels. This indicates that a positive relationship exists between the personality of the teenagers and Parental Conflict.
