Abstract:
Migrated seismic line (932-GJN-19) from Gujarkhan area was obtain from Directorate General of Petroleum Concession for seismic interpretation. The line shot by OGDCL was 35km long, from shot point 110-350, 24 fold and trending towards north-west direction. All the required information was provided within the time section to facilitate the conversion of the time section into depth section. Such calculation made a major role for subsurface interpretation ofthe area that has been the aim ofstudy.. Three reflectors were marked with Chorgali (Top Eocene) as a target horizon. a very thin layer of Permian age and the basement consisted of Pre-Cambrian salt. Faults \vere marked and then time velocity map was made to calculate the time. The m(~ior causes of the tectonic movement has been the main detachment fault that envoked the basement salt movement. Some anticlines were developed in the area which are the prospective zones for oil in Raj ian Area.
