dc.description.abstract The undertaken inquest is an endeavor envisioned to sift out the effects which China Pakistan Economic Corridor will have on the growth of Supply Chain as a discipline. The ever-growing business horizon has built a base for the emancipation and growth of many new innovative business fields which have brought not only new opportunities for businesses but also endless opportunities for the businesses across the globe. Being a developing economy, Pakistan is also at a turning point in time as China Pakistan Economic Corridor is set to take roots. This project, being the biggest of its kind in the history of this country will have innumerable social and economic benefits for the country. In this context, the undertaken study has been conducted to find the prospects of a relatively new field in Pakistan, the Supply Chain. As the growth of Supply Chain will render innumerable benefits for the country, the discipline of supply chain will also surge drastically in significance as well as operational relevance. The three gauging factors which have been taken into consideration to measure the potential growth of the discipline of supply chain are, sharing of information, expected time to launch new products and organizational performance. As these three factors are directly related to the field of supply chain, these have been measured and foreseen to determine the impact they will have on the field of Supply Chain. The ascertained results have depicted an equally promising picture in which this discipline is set to rise in its significance. en_US
