Gradual decline of Tangible Organizations and Scope of Virtual Organizations in Pakistan

Abstract

This project aims to study the concept of virtual organizations in Pakistan. Most of the organizations in Pakistan are following the old patterns of work and there is little or no concept of decentralization. Pakistan is trying to make use of decentralized control and one such example of decentralization is the virtual organization which is beginning to take root. Due to the nature of this new organizational reform an electronic framework was adopted, which was formulated according to the needs of the organization.

The first section explains the concept of virtual organization and its supply chain management, followed by the introduction of the case study firm.

The second section introduces the problems encountered by the firm and the selection of conceptual framework.

The last section analyzes the problem area by using the selected framework and attempts to provide a solution. The further chapter concludes the project.
