dc.description.abstract | Digital image processing is playing a vital role in many core areas like compter vision,medical technologies,projections and feature extraction etc, So many image processing packages have been introduced to process the digital images time by time. Although we can also perform some image processing activities in matlab,but there are some contradictions: 1. User have to installed the program on local machine. 2. A professional training is required to work with matlab. 3. Some users blame that it has not an attractive GUI. In this project a software package has been developed which would be able to perform various image processing activities like filtering,adjusting,enhancing and color manipulation etc. This program will be able to read and display many different image file formats and will also be able to convert these images to the RGB and YUV formats. One main feature that this package will provide is the flexibility in filtration, so user can add, delete any filter to/from the program according to need while in other programs of this type user is mostly bound to use the already installed filters. As this package has been developed using Java in a applet form so one can upload it to a web and can use online. Finally this package has a very user friendly interface so no any previous knowledge of image processing or training is required to use this application. This package will also provide the facility to filter the images with 11X11 convolution window which is a rare feature. | en_US |
