dc.description.abstract In this modern era of technology, things are getting more advance and precise as they were before. Compass is one of the basic navigation tools that have helped humans from centuries. Digital Compass is the modern form of manual compass which is more precise and can be used in embedded system as it provides digital output. Digital compass is also the basic tool in our Intelligent On Board Guidance System. In this project vehicle will move on a prescribed trajectory and we have to monitor that vehicle on a Graphical User Interface (GUI). Most important aspect of this project is that we can trace back the vehicle to its original path in case when the vehicle is disturbed. But one thing should be kept in mind that this disturbance will only be in angle of the vehicle. It means that disturbance in the displacement will not be cater by this system. Digital Compass play a very significant role in this aspect as it brings the vehicle back to original path which has been given to it by the programmer. The other main apparatus is the stepper motor which moves the vehicle on the path. Other important components of the system are RF sensors which include Transmitters and Receivers, which are important for developing graphical user interface. en_US
