dc.description.abstract The project is about the development of an online Customer Management System. Every organization has its own way of managing the customers. This system will provide the organization a better way to interact with the customers, providing them with better support and communication facility. The project will be a web based portal where the clients get them registered. Registered staff members will provide the support services by answering to the requests posted by the customers. Every customer will have a unique auto generated request number for their requests. Alerts and notification services are also provided in order to create and maintain a quality standard of support services provided by the organization. The customers will be provided with multiple ways to interact with the support team depending on their convenience. Customer relationship management (CRM) is a term applied to processes implemented by a company to handle its contact with its customers. Our CRM software is used to support these processes, storing information on current and prospective customers. Information in the system can be accessed and entered by employees in different departments, such as, customer service, training, professional development, performance management, human resource development, and compensation. Details on any customer contacts can also be stored in the system. The rationale behind this approach is to improve services provided directly to customers and to use the information in the system. en_US
