| dc.description.abstract | Turnover is a major problem for organizations in the modern times. Organizations face a lot of costs in hiring and training employees. Retaining employees is very important to keep the costs of hiring and training of employees to a minimum. United Bank Limited is a premier bank of Pakistan. It has won many national awards for its banking and other services. Even with all its achievements UBL also faces the problem of turnover among its younger employees who are apparently not happy there. In recent years it has faced high turnover among younger employees who have left to join other organizations. This report takes a look at the reasons due to which the employees are leaving UBL to join other companies and it also tries to find the key areas which have to be looked into to control this high rate of turnover. After finding the key problems this report gives certain recommendations and an action plan about how to combat the problem of turnover to reduce the costs that UBL is facing currently. | en_US |
