| dc.description.abstract | A survey research was carr ied out to find out the impact of the change program of United Bank Li mited on its external and internal envir onment. The population consist ed of the manager human resource of the zonal office in Islamabad and 9765 empl oyees of t he bank. The sample comprised 410 employees of 15 br anches located in Islamabad and Rawalpi ndi. To collect the data two ques tionnaires were construct ed separately for the top management and for the employees keeping in view the objectives of the study. First questionnaire containing seven questions was designed t o hol d structured i nterview of t he human resource manager of the zonal office of UBL wher eas the second was a survey ques tionnaire comprisi ng eight questions. The interviewee and the respondents were gi ven ample time for preparation of thei r responses. Out of 410 subjects of the sample 360 responded and returned the questionnaires. The data collected through the structured interview were analyzed by adopting qualitative approach whereas t he data collected through the survey questionnaires were analyzed by adopting quantitative approach on the basis of the frequencies of responses in percentage order. Analysis of both the qualitative and quantitative data revealed that UBL change program was devised with clear goals and introduced by adopting effective strategies. The structural, ope rational, technological and behavioral strategies yielded positive results and accomplished the desired objectives in context of external environment that include overall performance of the organization in terms of UBL's market share, financial | en_US |
