Financial Analysis of Askari Bank for the period 2002-2006

Abstract

The present research was conducted to find the financial analysis of Askari bank ltd in Pakistan In this report we examine and evaluate the bank’s five years financial statements from year 2002 to 2006.The researchers focused on the financial analysis aspect of the bank. The bank has demographic structure and has a computerized environment.

The research methodology which have been used in this research are the bank’s previous years financial statements and the secondary data collected from different sources.

After review of its financial statements, ratio analysis, horizontal and vertical analysis have been used for the purpose of determining company’s financial health followed by concluding remarks and recommendations based on our findings.

The financial analysis of Askari Bank shows that it made a steady progress over the past years. The last five years bank’s performance review shows that it is slow and steady and not galloping.
