dc.description.abstract In Pakistan many organizations are trying to improve their human resource and this positive change can be clearly seen in the corporate sector. They are implementing different training techniques to enhance the skills, knowledge and attitudes of their valuable employees. Companies are well aware of the fact that the human resource can only bring growth for them as it’s the greatest asset of any organization. In today’s competitive era the companies should try to utilize the utmost potential of their human resource. A satisfied employee results in better performance. In return it benefits the overall organizations productivity and growth. There can be many various factors which can help an employee to be satisfied with their job. Trainings have a very positive effect on the job satisfaction level resulting in better performance. Therefore investment on the human resource is essential these days. Trainings have two main types which are on the job and off the job trainings. We will mainly focus on off the job trainings effect on employee satisfaction and performance level. Trainings help employees to enhance their knowledge, attitude and skills. It is mainly conducted on a location which is away from the work area. It often use the method like; role playing, case studies, lectures, computer based, simulation exercises, games, seminars and many others. Off the job trainings are mainly related to enhancement of knowledge and attitudes of employees. This study will show the positive impact of, off the job trainings on employee job satisfaction and performance level by the help of research, questionnaire and observations conducted from various corporate organizations in Pakistan. en_US
