Abstract:
Communication is the only and the most important tool in any type
of training, learning or passing of information to and from top
management to subordinates i.e. the employees of the company
and vice versa. This is one of the major differences between flying
/ successful organizations and those standing at the verge of
collapse due their low productivity. There are many ways to
communicate the decisions taken in executive meetings to subordinate
managers and the employees’ who are actually the back
bone of any organization. It is important for successful
organizations to maintain social contact with its subordinates and
that may be through norms of reciprocations, which exists almost
in every culture in one way or the other. These steps will give the
employees a sense of belonging to the organizations and is
expected that they will put in their best in their work which will in
turn increase the productivity of the organizations.
The report mainly discusses the communications impact in the
telecom sector of Pakistan in which mainly five companies namely
Ufone, Mobilink, Warid, Zong and Telenor are taken into
consideration for collection of data and to see that how the
communication plays its part in the achievement of strategic
organizational goals with respect to enhancement of its
productivity. The study brings out that there is a need to establish
corporate directory and corporate calendar functionality so that the
employees can transparently reach to various organizational nuts
without difficulty. Furthermore the effectiveness of the
communication can be increased if the operators try and establish
work groups where the employees can discuss the issues related to
organization production / achievement of goals and provide their
input on regular basis to make processes better.
