dc.description.abstract This research is based on the foundation that with so many branded and labeled packaged foods available in the Pakistani market, many consumers are not aware of the information that is given on the labels due to several reasons. The lack of involvement of government and private institutions in Pakistan in creating awareness among consumers about food labels. Income level, education and personal health conditions also effect the perception of consumers when they buy packaged foods with labels. Also Consumer’s perception is effected while buying imported food and local foods. en_US
