Abstract:
The present study is conducted to understand the concept of undertaking non-core activities of ZTBL by KSSL. The sole purpose of doing this project is to highlight the important contributions which KSSL has made in consolidating and expanding ZTBL operations. The aim of doing this project is to throw light on those factors which demonstrate the financial viability and sustainability of KSSL to work as an independent subsidiary for the betterment of ZTBL. The project also includes the major reasons for subsidizing the none-core activities of ZTBL, significant contributions made by KSSL in strengthening ZTBL, current difficulties being faced by KSSL management and future stake of KSSL for ZTBL management. The project carries a great deal of importance in determining that whether KSSL can shoulder the responsibility being given by ZTBL! Further project limelight those factors which have allured ZTBL management to form an independent subsidiary. The project includes the details of the non-core activities and up to \.vhat extent has ZTBL been successful in achieving its desired obj ectives of forming KSSL. The analysis has been taken both quantitatively as well as qualitatively. The ratio analysis has been done for KSSL. The current data has been taken from years 2006-2007. The liquidity ratio, activity ratios and profitability ratios has been carried out to check the performance of the company. With this the current financial position of the company is also calculated.
