dc.description.abstract With the professional development in the field of Human Resource, almost all organizations whether big or small, public or private consider “Human Resource” as a critical asset. In order to retain, motivate and to enhance skills of their employees, organizations / firms carry out different kinds of training programs. Training has been an essential element of any organization’s success and growth. On one hand, it provides employees an opportunity to develop as an improved personality and professional; while, on the other hand it provides organization with more willing and talented personnel, set with necessary tools and techniques required to achieve organizational goals. 2. Training is a long-term process, which demands interest and initiative both from management and those who are managed. Organizations which offer an assortment of learning opportunities enable employees to perform better on their jobs enabling the organization en bloc to perform better. 3. Human resource is the most vital resource, which turns human power into highly skilled and dynamic workforce through education and training. Even though training facilitates employees accomplish their present jobs; however, it ensures that the employees are appropriately equipped to assume prospective tasks in future too. 4. Training of employee is the most important task of an organization to improve its productivity and quality. In recent past, its importance has considerably increased due to globalization and its impact on international HRM changes, increased market competition and diminishing resource. In today’s competitive HR environment, employees are expected to be capable team builders, prompt decisions makers and adapt at effective communication skills. These can be ensured by conducting requisite training programs aimed at required technical or interpersonal communication skills. en_US
