Abstract:
The topic of my thesis is Impact Of Organizational politics, Work-Environment and
Employee Motivation on Organizational Commitment of Employees in Public Banking Sector of
Islamabad. This research was undertaken to find how Organizational politics, Work-
Environment and Employee Motivation impacts the Organizational commitment of employees in
Banking Sector of Pakistan. This study focuses on understanding the link between
Organizational politics, Work-Environment and Employee Motivation.
Organizational Commitment plays a vital role in determining the performance of
employees. Each individual has either high Organizational Commitment level or low
Organizational Commitment level. Employees with higher Organizational commitmentlevel are
able to perform better at a job than those who have Organizational Commitment level.
Organizational Commitment has been of great interest and has intrigued many scholars,
practitioners and academicians for decades. Yet, serious studies on Commitment in organizations
have emerged as a workable body of scientific inquiry just within the past twenty years. The
purpose of this research was to observe and investigate the relationship between Organizational
politics, Work-Environment and Employee Motivation and also determines the Impact of
Organizational politics, Work-Environment and Employee Motivation on Organizational
Commitment of Employees in Banking Sector of Pakistan. Data is collected primarily from
questionnaires and interviews while secondary data is researched from online journals, books
and other web sources. Results are analyzed through using Spss software version 20 ,To find
association or strength of associations between variables, PEARSON correlation has been
conducted,. The analysis revealed that Organizational politics, Work-Environment and Employee
Motivation have significant impact on Organizational commitment.
