Abstract:
The objective of the research titled, “effect of
socialization on new employees and on organizational
efficiency” is to study the impact of long held values,
rituals and customs of ZTBL on performance of newly hired
and vibrant employees and to study the impact of attitude
of people during socialization process on work delays and
mission of organization. It was also aimed to find out
the severity of the issue of lack of socialization and
conflict between employees and to carry extensive
research on this topic.
A total of 40 employees of ZTBL Islamabad, were given
questionnaires to fill. These employees included all
levels of management i.e. lower level, middle level and
upper level. Out of these 40 questionnaires, 30 were
returned back. Upper level management has been
interviewed informally which elaborated the human
resource issues of ZTBL and cleared many ambiguities to
analyze and interpret. Data was analyzed on bivariate
analysis of variance i.e. ANOVA for “Efficient
Socialization” and “Conflict between old and new
employees”.
