| dc.description.abstract | This project is related to the chevron Pakistan ltd., an oil marketing company operating in Pakistan. Firstly, the history of Caltex (subsidiary of Chevron Corporation) and global operations of the Chevron corporation and its associated brands are discussed in detail which includes reserves & refining capacity, marketing, transportation and its operational excellence in refining. Secondly, the operations of Chevron In Pakistan are discussed in detail including its downstream activities and operations and its organizational structure. Thirdly, the problem area has been identified and discussed in comparison to different other oil marketing companies (OMC's) operating in Pakistan such as Shell and PSO as well as SWOT analysis of the Chevron Pakistan Ltd. Fourthly, the conclusion is provided along with relevant recommendations. | en_US |
