dc.description.abstract The Project is about Retention Issues in Petroleum Industry of Pakistan. With the escalating oil price in the world market, exploration and production business all over the globe has triggered multifold in the recent years. Every Exploration and Production (E&P) company is facing problem in retaining its technical professionals in this growing worldwide demand for such professionals. In Pakistan despite increased efforts of retaining employees, it has become difficult to retain such professionals even for multinational E&P companies operating in Pakistan. Similarly retention of senior technical professionals in GHPL, POL and MGCL has become extremely difficult. After studying the existing Human Resource Practices, recommendations have been developed. This repot portrays the analysis of previous HR Practices and given recommendations accordingly. en_US
