dc.description.abstract Corporate Governance practices are correlated with the financial performances of the ‘Oil and Gas Marketing’ sector of Pakistan in this study. This was done under an assumption that the Corporate governance performances as per the theoretical evidence and prior research work available; enhance the performance of the company, leading to a better financial performance. With a sample of four of the company of the chosen sector the correlation between their Corporate Governance practices with their financial performance was estimated with the regression analysis. The correlation coefficient and regression analysis revealed a small negative relationship of the sample companies. en_US
