| dc.description.abstract | Physical disability is an issue that is neglected and persons with disabilities are the most marginalized group of Pakistani society. It has become crucial to realize the significance of persons with disabilities as an equally important segment of any society. This paper aims to explore the different dimensions of physical disability which includes defining physical disability, the practical aspect of physical disability and the development discourse around it. Moreover, this paper will also shed light upon the working of development organization named STEP, which is concerned with physically disabled people in Pakistan. In addition to that, this paper will also underline the ways in which similar development organizations can cater to the needs of persons with disabilities living in Pakistan using Rights Based Approach to disability in development. | en_US |
