| dc.description.abstract | Viewing news on television is directly linked to an individual's cognitive behavior which most of the time affects them psychologically especially when the news is sensationalized and negative related to unimportant issue. The aggressive news shown on television greatly affect psychological health and person’s mood through its content. Most of the people start to behave aggressively after they watch news related to bomb blasts, drone attacks , agitation and fights between groups on some issues.Pakistani media have taken a different track and is creating a terrible condition in the name of freedom of the press. The competition between channels to increase the viewership and ratings is the main cause to show negative tools and coverage, masses are bombarded with a lot of information. The private news channels are spreading hopelessness and disappointment among our youth. | en_US |
