Abstract:
Media also has a great influence on the society as a whole and people as individuals so a greater
responsibility falls on the journalists and reporters to portray the facts without maligning them. If
this responsibility is not fulfilled, it leads to massive loss which can at times have a great impact
and lead to greater problems towards the society and the leadership. Self-regulation helps not
only the journalists in defining their limitations regarding coverage and collection of data but
also helps in portraying information that is socially acceptable and delivered in a responsible
manner. This greatly helps in boosting the credibility of the media and dignifies its authenticity
for the public as well as for leaders. The value of the privacy of people, exercise of personal
freedom, the management beyond the situation of our events and for the defense against the
option a undeniable disagreement against privacy invasion of reporters. In democratic countries,
a unique connection prevails between mass media and federal government. The training of that
independence by particular reporters is issue of private discussion. To practice the ethical
standards of reporting one has to make his or her own decisions since it is always considered to
be a private matter or choice.
