dc.description.abstract | In the best of worlds, employees would love their jobs, like their coworkers, work hard for their employers, get paid well for their work, have ample chances for advancement, and flexible schedules so they could attend to personal or family needs when necessary. But then there's the real world and in the real world, employees do leave, either because they want more money, hate the working conditions, hate their coworkers or because they want a change. Attrition is said to be the gradual reduction in the number of employees through retirement, resignation or death. Another form of attrition is Employees Turnover or Employees Defection. Whenever a well-trained employee leaves the organization, it creates a vacuum. The organization loses key skills, knowledge and business relationships. Human resource managers are greatly interested in reducing attrition in the organization, in order to achieve the maximum effectiveness, growth and progress of the organization. This Project report is an outcome of the study called “HR Attrition and Retention analysis at Fauji Fertilizer Company Limited. The study evaluates the attrition data at the two plants of FFC, Goth Machi and Mirpur Mathelo and the employee satisfaction level through employee survey questionnaire. The main objective of this study is to know the reasons why attrition occurs, to know the satisfactory level of employees towards their job and working conditions and to find the area where FFC is lagging behind. | en_US |
