dc.description.abstract In an organizational setting, Interpersonal conflict is considered as workplace stressor which means that conflict related to work context in one factor that creates stress in organization and it is drastically related to job stress. According to different studies, conflict known as the stressor which means, it constantly related to perception of organization politics. It is important to highlight the issue of interpersonal conflict in an organization environment as it can harm the relationship of the employees internally and externally. Two dimensions are discussed in the study to explore the impact of interpersonal conflict on organization’s performance: interpersonal conflict with one’s supervisor and interpersonal conflict with co-workers. To meet the objectives of this study, interpersonal conflict with the supervisors is elaborated in a way that it’s a stress or divergence between employees and supervisor’s relationship. Interpersonal conflict with the supervisors generically happens due to diverse workplace issues like, scarce resources, work pressure, favoritism, job clashes or confusion about the job description as well as the wrong directions regarding the execution of various work relevant assignments. Interpersonal conflict with co-workers also arises due to clashes between coworkers’ attitudes, harassment behavior, antagonism, or clashes in the objectives of coworkers are found to be a widespread dilemma. The purpose of the study is manifolds. Firstly, this study investigates the direct relationship of interpersonal conflict and job stress then it falls into investigating the direct relationship between interpersonal conflict and perception of politics. Secondly, explore moderating role of psychological capital in relation with interpersonal conflict and job stress. And lastly the combination of all the variables is correlated to investigate the moderating effect of psychological capital in relationship between interpersonal conflict and perception of politics. Conflict needs to be highly focused in country like Pakistan as the current economical conditions are not good and facing inflation due to which organizations are not making enough profits. Therefore, this paper aims to study the relationships between these conflicting factors and its effect on organization’s performance overall, within the context of Oil and Gas Development Limited. en_US
