Abstract:
Collecting, managing & utilizing money is one of the biggest desires of human since
its birth. From metal coins to sophisticated papers, money has always been cherished
& traded with full perceived efficiency by human .People & organizations have been
providing many ways to save manage and utilize money. Banks moves to more and
more sophisticated procedures & facilities to its customers. One of the most
innovative facilities being provided by banks is online banking, making lives easier as
transactions have squeezed from long standing queue’s to a single click on PC. But
the interesting fact is that still in Pakistan banking sector there is very low acceptance
towards internet banking. This research is being conducted for Influencing factors in
the adoption of Internet Banking in First Women Bank Ltd.This research is an
addition to impressive work that need to be considered for increasing trend of Internet
banking usage in Industry and particularly for First Women Bank Ltd. Besides
demographics and perception a new variable of conservative nature of people to new
have been identified as a reason for creating hindrance in adoption and it has found a
very significant relationship with the low acceptance of internet banking in First
Women Bank Ltd. The results have shown that perception has a positive relation with
adoption whereas conservatism and demographics have negative relationship with
adoption of internet banking First Women Bank Ltd. It was more interesting to find
that people do perceived online banking to be a very suitable, easy and facilitating
innovation but still they don’t go for it because of conservatism of First Women Bank
Ltd. This hindrance can be removed by increasing awareness about online banking
through proper marketing & educating people to the customers of First Women Bank
Ltd.
