dc.description.abstract This study examines the trading of Exchange Traded Derivatives(ETDs) in the Pakistani capital markets. It discusses the various benefits of introducing ETDs in Pakistan. This is succeeded by an in depth examination into the trading of ETDs in Pakistan vis a vis market infrastructure, legal structure, exchange structure, clearinghouse structure, intermediaries and investor education. The study not only examines the current infrastructure available but also explains how it can be improved in order to be in line with international best practices. en_US
