dc.description.abstract This is the introductory chapter of the study where the purpose is to draw an outline of the research and justify the topic of the study which is undertaken by the researcher so that the research process can be clearly identified in reference to the angle which it will use to approach the topic of the study. The public private partnerships is a major debate in the contemporary business practices which are crucial to the success of the business as portrayed by many scholars that have studied the modern business practices and market relationships. Primarily this issue has been discussed in the realm of supply chain management and marketing functions because developing market relationship in business environments have a direct effect on the competitors and the nature of the competition in the market. There are many theories which are presented by researchers in order to enable the organization to expand in the market exponentially while using the distribution networks of suppliers, marketing channels and providing them a stake in the organization so that they work voluntarily for the organization itself instead of doing business with it. An organization plans to build skills internally and externally and major part of these skill developing process is the fact that the organization tries to take more business units to its team of professionals so that the market can be catered in a much better way and not to mention that it also gives them an idea of how various competitors in the market operate since their market outreach would entail confrontations with the competition at one point or the other. The aspect which this study will investigate is the partnerships developed in the market among public and private organizations which are developed in order to implement various strategic decisions that the organizations believe can help in long term smooth operations. This chapter will also include the rationale of the study and the purpose of the study which is to be tested here. In addition, the research questions will be discussed which will provide the topic a more strengthening layout which will help in attaining a considerable range of outcomes from the study. en_US
