GSM based bus arrival time Display (P-0232) (MFN 3972)

Abstract

The world today has all the possible resources but time. People have gone so far as to declare time as money, when nobody knows exactly what time is. All that the humankind has achieved is the ability to measure time. Thus, we too, have measured time, with an innovative idea that might help the society. We have used the science of a GPS (Global Positioning System) and GSM (Global System for Mobile communications). Both of these, integrated with complex circuitry have yielded an automatic time telling system which tells about the time remaining before a bus arrives at the required destination. The Real Time Bus arrival time display system is a standalone system designed to display the real-time location(s) of the buses in Pakistan. This system will enable the tracking device to obtain GPS data of the bus locations, which it will then transfer it to centralized control unit and depict it by activating LEDs in the approximate geographic positions of the buses on the route map.
