| dc.description.abstract | Conflict of work and family is a major problem faced by almost every unit in the workforce of the country since balancing the stress and the workload which is given off by work and the economic pressures which are felt by the family are two separate but interlinked phenomenon which affect the human mind. The aspects of both job of an individual and the domestic life is related to the environment of the society since it is the society which offers the input into the business and thereby determines the profitability of the organization. The changes in economic conditions and consumption patterns have affected people at large belonging to every walk of life. The income haven’t increased at the same pace as that of the expenses hence to keep up with these changes now both husband and wife or multi-family members are indulged in working, Because of the conflicting nature of work and family-chores the phenomenon of work family conflicts have emerged. It has become an important issue in today’s world. Work-Family Conflict is described as “a form of inter-role conflict in which the role pressures from the work and family domains are mutually incompatible in some respect”(Greenhaus & Beutell, 1985). | en_US |
