Factors affecting the stock prices of cement sector of Pakistan

Abstract

In the abstract we see purpose and the whole summary of the research work is included regarding what we have done so far and what factors are to be mentioned and what remaining factors are to be worked on for the further future work and the key words are also given for the help and guidance. The main reason for conducting this research work is to find out the main factors which are affecting the cement industry stock prices of the Pakistan. In our research work we have focused on the two things one is the dependent variable and the second is independent variable and its significant relationship. By taking out the facts and the figures about those particular and exact variables which are involve in affecting the stock prices and those variables are Dividend, Return on Asset, Gross profit margin.In the next step to observe the significant relationship among the dependent and independent variables we collected and organized the data for our study through the company’s financial statement, annual reports, journals, business recorders, publication from State bank of Pakistan and the data from the Islamabad stock exchange. For the analysis or analytical outcomes we use the statistical software in which we figured out the correlation and regression analysis and performed our analysis, and after obtaining the outcomes we conclude that there is a positive and the significant relationship among the dependent and independent variables which means that our research work conducted is valid and true basing on the results we conclude.
