| dc.description.abstract | This empirical research is conducted to investigate organizational culture and organizational learning in software companies of Pakistani market, specifically the organizations operating in twin city market of Islamabad and Rawalpindi. Another purpose is to inculcate the learning process in cross cultural organization to compete globally. The concept of organizational culture and organizational learning has become prominent for past few decades to face competition head on. The organizations have become more inclined towards the concept of “Learning Organizations”, which enables them to inject new concepts and practices in their existing setup. However, a few studies have addressed the issue of how organizational culture contributes towards organizational learning. The gap in literatures is filled by initiating a theoretical debate to develop a synthesis of the organizational culture and organizational learning concepts. The phenomenon of global software development is gaining momentum as an adoption trend in these companies. These software companies are working mostly based on BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) and project based clients. | en_US |
