Abstract:
The study was aimed to explore the relationship of work life balance and employees performance
with respect to the other variables which are the subset of work life balance. Stress,
organizational productivity, and employee’s commitment towards work and gender differences
they all combine or may be one or more variable affects the employee’s performance. The
objective of this study is to address the advantages of work life balance and the consequences or
disadvantages of work life imbalance. Other objective is too aware the employees and
organizations in Pakistan about the work life balance. In order to get the results, research is
conducted on NADRA employees and the sample size is 100. All objectives are fulfilled in the
end of the research. The findings of the analysis proved that work life balance has positive
impact on employee’s performance. Previous researches prove, that work life balance has a
direct impact on employee’s performance because when employees are able to maintain the
professional and personal life equally can decrease work life conflicts and become more efficient
and motivated. Quantitative methodology is used in order to collect the data by distrusting
questionnaires; this methodology is used because data is very much specific and general. The
software SPSS is used for data analysis. If there is balance between employees professional and
personal life may bring success to the organization because today innovation is appreciated and it
is the only way to gain the competitive advantage. The practical implementation of the research
suggest that proper HR polices should be introduce in the organization which support the work
life balance and provide flexible working hours to the workers. Laws must be implemented in
the organization which protects the legal rights of the employees.
