Abstract:
The purpose of this project is to help the client organization to perform well and gain maximum profitability, as the client organization is expanding and employees have to perform more which can result in employees work overload. Identification of important and essential tasks was required to make employees more efficient at this stage. The project is based on conducting job analysis to specifically prepare the job descriptions and job specifications of the jobs of the client organization. The method used to prepare task statements for job descriptions is Functional Job Analysis (FJA); this method was first designed by department of labor of United States of America. FJA has specific grammar for the construction of task statements. This structure consists of action verb then immediate object then infinitive and then the object of infinitive. For gathering job related data the Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) were observed and interviewed. Help form O*NET was also taken for specific jargons and job related terms.
