dc.description.abstract Financial institutions have gained huge market in the last few decades and are going to capture a lot in a near future. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the services rendered by these financial institutions to their prospective clients. Further, the study seeks to test the comparative analysis of two Financial institutions by targeting specific organizations; Askari investment Management (AIM) and Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC). The basis of executing research lies within the Islamabad Capital Territory. Secondly, this research will explore the practices of local and international financial institution in the country. The role of human is of significant importance therefore, a survey based study has been conducted to analyze the irrational behavior of investor’s existing in the today’s market. Further, specific investor class is being tested on the three defined parameters; self confidence, regret & belief. The basis of comparative analysis is based on following six parameters; number of clients, target market, services offered, risk and return investor class and financial performances. The study has been put forward by gathering data through both primary and secondary sources. The potential element of the research is; executing the comparative study with reference to investors’ behavior attitudes and preferences. This element has set the study distinct from other studies of its types. A total sample size of seventy has been considered and data is gathered through interviews from the organizational clients. However, a questionnaire based survey is conducted among the targeted investor class. The data gathered is analyzed through SPSS frequency model. After conducting the detailed research and analysis, the results are indicating the irrational behavior of investors and significant outperformance of a local investment financial institution over an international. en_US
