Abstract:
The process of recruitment has become critical to the organizational success as
obvious from many studies and researches carried out by various authors. The
main purpose and the key objectives of this research study are to spread
knowledge about the new rising phenomena of e-recruitment or the online
recruitment. Another goal or a secondary goal of the research study could be to
find that which of the social networking websites are mostly being used by the
employers in the telecom industry of Pakistan are being used for this process of erecruitment
or the online recruitment. It also spreads the knowledge about the
social networking websites used for the process of online recruitment (erecruitment).
It researches how the online recruitment has improved the efficiency
and effectiveness of the recruitment process with the use of the social networking
websites.
