Abstract:
The purpose of this study was to explore the relationship between Quality control,
communication and just in time with supply chain management in the dairy sector of Pakistan.
The moderating role of Organizational culture was also explored on the relationship of the
quality control and supply chain management. The target industry for this study was dairy food
industry. The method of research used for this study was quantitative research in which
information was gathered by dispersing questionnaires and then examined these questionnaires
by a statistical tool. Questionnaires were distributed in the dairy organizations in the Rawalpindi
and Islamabad. The sample size of this study was 240 and questionnaires were distributed among
the managers and workers. Based on the data collection, tests were run to examine the
questionnaires and data was analyzed. It was found that there is a relationship between supply
chain management and quality control. It was also found that organizational culture moderates
the relationship between supply chain management and quality control. Furthermore findings of
data had also supported that there is relationship between Just in time and supply chain
management. The relationship between communication and supply chain management was also
found in the result. The conclusions and recommendations were presented at the end of this
dissertation.
