dc.description.abstract The present study pertains to the delineation of the productive zones from seismic and well log data of Naccowlah Block, Eromanga basin, Australia. This was carried out through by seismic and well data (LAS format) of Eromanga Basin, provided by the Queensland Department of Mines and Energy, Queensland Australia. The area is a part of Eromanga Basin, being important for its hydrocarbon (oil and gas) stratigraphic traps. Eromanga Basin is located in central and southern Australia. The regular discoveries in the Basin started in 1980s. 3D seismic data has been used for the structural interpretation of the basin and the hydrocarbon potential has been determined with the help of wireline log data. Apart from that to see the lateral stratigraphic variation in the area well correlation has been done. Seismic depth and time mapping was carried out to develop structural contour maps to demarcate the structural trends in the area. Synthetic seismogram was also developed with the help of density log and sonic log to confirm the geological section made by the seismic interpretation. Synthetic seismic model of the study area was also developed and these models confirm the position and depth of the marked horizons, relief and structural configuration of the study area. The petrophysical analysis for the selected zone of the interest shows medium to good reservoir quality. en_US
