Abstract:
The primary objective of the education sector is to bring continuous improvements to
learning methodologies. Those who normally use games in their curriculum have a set of
assumptions. They know the importance of playing games as it exhibits persistence, problem
solving skills, critical thinking and attention to details. The same trend has been observed in
many of the business schools in Islamabad whose prime focus is on creating and bringing
practical and industry required knowledge to the students in the most apposite manner.
Business games is becoming an important and emerging field of interest to many researchers
in the education sector. Experiential-based learning is well recognized and understood to be
used in learning real world situations where the acquirement of knowledge alone is not
adequate. This is especially true within and for business education where learning by doing is
limited to traditional classroom setups. On a continuum of student focused learning methods
(Fry et al., 2000) within undergraduate and postgraduate business programs, there are diverse
and varied approaches taken. Due to its infinite advantages teachers and students both are
adapting to this teaching and learning methodology.
