dc.description.abstract The current research paper studied the Risk and Return of investment in stocks of Pakistani petroleum companies. Study is based on historical data of five year sample. The research measured the mean returns, standard deviation and coefficient of variation to analyse the volatility in stocks. In the research it was found that all the selected companies are performing normally except Shell Pakistan Limited. Shell has high stock volatility and has high level of risk and least return on stocks. While OGDCL was found the outperforming company, it has high return as compared to other companies and it is less risky. en_US
