Abstract:
Social media has become a strongest way to deliver message directly to each
and every single group individually. The users of social media platforms are
increasing rapidly because it provides a unique and user friendly features.
The usage of social media platforms in the process of promoting products
and services are getting popular in the literature of marketing. Social media
provides countless benefits to the companies while promoting their brand
name, identity and reputation among their existing and new customers. The
research first introduce the SMEs and the role that they play in building the
economy of Pakistan than the study has revealed the role that marketing
plays in building the identity of small and medium enterprises. The study
further explores different traditional tools and how they increase cost for
SMEs if they use them for the purpose of marketing activities. The aim of
this study is to learn what are the main issues Fashion SME sector in
Pakistan is facing and how social media can be used to do their marketing
activities free of cost. The themes of this study were also designed to get
what Fashion SMEs can do to build their brands more easily that everyone
would be able to hear about them.
