dc.description.abstract The topic of research is ‘’ mentoring and its effects on employees’ affective commitment’’. It is systematic study which deals how mentoring and its dimensions Role Modeling, Counseling, Acceptance , Friendship and profetional competencies have significant effect on employees’ affective commitment with organization. It was taken under consideration that how mentoring effects the employee commitment in telecom sector of Islamabad and Rawalpindi. The concept of mentoring and its relationship with the affective commitment of employees in an organization has been systematically discussed in the literature. In involvement of this many studies related with mentoring and employees’ affective commitment has been conducted in west but few in Pakistan. This illustrates that many people are not responsive of this term Mentoring and not even aware with its effects on employees’ affective commitment. While looking at other side of picture it is observed that in management field mentoring is getting more known and popular topic for research and argument, bringing that light the fact that mentoring is a interpreter of committing the employee with an organization and provide them supervision and support. Also knowing the other factors of mentoring like Role modeling, Counseling, Acceptance and Rejection, Friendship have significant impact on employees’ affective commitment in an organization. en_US
