dc.description.abstract | Mr Irshad Chaudry the owner of fresco sweets started the journey of selling methai on a small scale with very limited resources and the only thing he had plenty at that time was his vision for fresco to excel to the highest heights and rise parallel to the industry giants of that time. As time passed on fresco developed its strong hold in the market, the name started to spread in the twin cities and the business excelled to the point where Mr Irshad had envisioned it, but that now wasn’t enough as one always wants more in life so he diversified and that marked the beginning of the Fresco Food Lounge, whereas the backward integration helped the company to take control of the supply which further enhanced the quality and made Fresco a prominent player in the industry and an organization competitors started considering a tough rival. After these successful ventures Mr Irshad wants Fresco to enter an emerging business which tends to be of organic food, on which he has authorized me to make a complete marketing plan. Something’s like the budget and the location would be dictated by the owner while the rest I would be free to explore my options. A separate shop would be opened in Islamabad for the sole purpose of selling organic food which would comprise of organic fruits, vegetables and dairy and my project would be to deliver him the entire marketing plan for this purpose Organic by Fresco Sweets will cater to health conscious people who prefer health over money, we will use our own land on which the cultivation will take place which will be free of modern synthetic inputs to ensure quality and superior taste, it would be an upcoming business venture in Pakistan for the first time to offer the target market organic food, Which includes fruits, vegetables and dairy products. The firm will start its operations in July 2015 and will be providing the groceries from October 2015. | en_US |
