dc.description.abstract Mobo-Smart is a tracking system for the Bahria University student buses that provides the real-time location of the bus without any delay. It is an efficient and cost-effective solution with no involvement of any third party services for getting tracking assistance. It is a GPS (Global Positioning System) and GSM (Global System for Mobile communication) based system that incorporates the functionalities of both to provide a direct contact with the bus at all times, helping to monitor and keep a check on the bus for moving on the correct route. This system will also help the university management to analyze the pros and cons of the route, fuel calculation and the estimated arrival time of the bus to the next stop and to the university. The system provides a web based user friendly interface with the inclusion of Google Maps API (Application Programming Interface). Avoiding complexities, the system just provides a small node that is installed in the bus, and a computer with an internet connection to view the live stream. en_US
