| dc.description.abstract | The project idea is about to design a Web application which is Based on Web Browser. This application will resolve the current issue of students and faculty members, who are unable to find their updated class schedule. This application is user friendly and can change the timetable according to requirements in web applications. I proposed a separate web application which is only for Timetable and examination scheduling for Bahria University Islamabad Campus. It will consist of each and every individual classroom. Every student will find an updated timetable and exam Scheduling. This web application is for desktop and as well as for smart phones. In this project, we present a specialized application involving the use of Smart phones as well as a service-oriented architecture for using Quick Reference (QR) codes for automating retrieving and display of class timetables. In any University, one reason for students missing or getting late in classes is inability to find the correct and updated classroom and timetable. When a student or a faculty member goes to a particular room around the campus, he/she is unaware of the exact current schedule for the current period. The only available place for the Timetable is typically the notice board, which, being manual in nature is prone to errors and late updates. This can result in delays in starting classes at times, confusion to students as well as faculty and inadvertent mismanagement of classes. | en_US |
