dc.description.abstract The idea behind the project title is to develop GSM based control system. That is to start/stop and remote monitoring of the motor. Our outcome is a control system which allows the user to effectively monitor and control the 3-phase motor using GSM networks including protection unit .Our system also includes 3-phase convertor and battery charger. Our system includes 3-phase convertor which is a power electronic device, which uses a rectifier and inverter combination to directly produce a three-phase waveform from single-phase power. The farmers in our country are mostly illiterate so our aim is to develop a GSM based 3-phase motor controller that is user friendly and reliable and bring automation in agricultural industry. Main idea behind the project is to design such a system that offers the users a flexibility to control and monitor the basic operations and inform the user about the status of electricity and dry running of the motor using GSM. The GSM based control system allows the users to effectively control their desired location in the agricultural fields from a remote area. This enables users to take advantage of the globally deployed GSM network. en_US
