dc.description.abstract Telecom industry is amongst the biggest industries. We cannot afford any outage of power especially in a country where energy crisis is a big problem. BTS power monitoring and alarm system is a system which will monitor the three main power sources of a BTS which are AC grid (WAPDA), UPS and Generator. The system while monitoring the power sources saves the data in the database. The system comprise of the power monitoring circuit, microcontroller, LCD, relay switching, voice interfacing IC, filter and GSM module. The system is supplied with power sources, when any one of the power source goes out the system sends a text message to the supervisor. When all the power sources goes out the system generates a call to the supervisor and a voice message is played that the BTS is out of power. The database saves the data after every minute and the number of the supervisor is fed into the system when a certain code is being texted by the number of supervisor to the system. This system saves time and energy of the people responsible for maintaining the BTS because the manual control is minimum. en_US
