dc.description.abstract Currently our country (Pakistan) is going through strong economic and energy crises (loadshedding). So it is highly required to design such systems which are economical as well as can overcome the load-shedding. In this project it has been tried to implement such system which can continue its working in load-shedding hours as well. And also help in saving energy. This project is about the air conditioning of room during load shedding hours. Thermal energy is stored in the form of ice in the out-door unit for that purpose water in a tank will froze by a compressor during light hours, this will complete almost our out-door unit.Then water will be showered on that ice, the ice then lowers the temperature of showered water, that cold water will be collecting at through the which will be circulating in the copper tubes on the inner side of room. A UPS battery system is used to run the fan, pump and motors which circulate water in the copper tubes, this fan will exchange air between radiator containing cool water and room which will eventually lower the temperature of room. The water in the tubes gets hot, which is then pumped back towards the frozen tank again where the water gets colder again and ready for reuse. Further it will be extended to use solar power; the energy used for freezing the water will also be saved. en_US
