| dc.description.abstract | A monitoring system capable of sending the extracted data to a remote server (database) and to mobile phone, utilizing GSM message service using transmitters with hardware has been developed and implemented. It enables the doctor to receive the information of patient's body temperature, heart rate and blood pressure anytime he desires on his cell phone. The heart signal (ECG) can be obtained from the remote server. The system consists of a hardware module for extraction and acquisition of heart signal, body temperature module, blood pressure module and a displaying module. The setup can be functioned from anywhere within the range of GSM by sending the message to the device and device responds by sending the message to the doctor. At the same time information will also be sent to the web server that can be seen on the display unit. The results of the system are verified by a general physician. | en_US |
