dc.description.abstract The significance of the project that we have designed is to look at the technology pacing for an abnormal human who by nature has any disorder or lacks abilities like other normal people. It is a hardware based project in the form of a wearable device which is arduino based. We aim to build a system that will navigate the way for blind people. This project is basically to provide a fight chance for people who are blind to reach their full potentials without any misery. Thinking about blindness one may imagine total darkness, the eyes might look fine but the brain has trouble in processing the image. The optic nerve sends picture to the brain, so if the nerve won’t form correctly the brain won’t receive the message needed for sight. The global estimation says that there are about 38 million persons who are blind. As a matter of fact, physical movement is one of the major issues the blind people have to face. Because of this many people will bring a sighted friend or family member to help steer unknown environments. To make their life simple and fast we have made a prototype of a system that will help them in finding their way and to avoid the hurdles that are coming through. So in our project the odd spots will be warned by certain voice signals that be generated with the help of audio aids when some hurdle at around 2km will be identified by the ultrasonic sensors. en_US
